About the Hispack
Hispack’s commercial offer covers the entire life cycle of packaging technology, from design to recycling, as well as the link to other production processes and the supply chain. More than half of the exhibitors come from the field of packaging and packaging machinery and accessories, and the equipment necessary for processing and filling as well as coding and marking. Companies for raw materials and supplies account for 30% of the stands, with the logistics, automation and premium packaging sectors also showing significant growth.
Postponed to october
Hispack 2021 will be held five months later than originally planned, in order to include the Spanish fair in the new schedule of major European packaging industry events, which have been postponed due to Covid-19, in order to meet the interests of the sector. According to the Director of Hispack, Xavier Pascual, “in this scenario we will gain more time to organize a large fair that represents the strength of the sector, at a time when the economic recovery is more consolidated, with more commercial opportunities for our exhibitors and visitors and with better expectations in terms of international participation and visiting buyers from foreign markets”.
Hispack will once again coincide in the same place with Alimentaria Food-Tech, the exhibition of equipment, technology and ingredients. The aim is to exploit synergies to attract companies and experts from the food and beverage industry (the main user sector of packaging) to the show.
...but allready big
Less than a year and a half before the event, Hispack has already reserved more than 200 exhibitors who have confirmed their participation and more than 15,000 square meters of net space at the Gran Via venue. At its last edition in 2018, this large Spanish packaging fair had 823 exhibitors, 25 percent of whom were international exhibitors, and occupied 40,000 square meters.
Hispack aims to increase the presence of materials, processing machines, automation and logistics companies in 2021. The exhibition will be divided into the following sections: packaging machines and processes, branded packaging, premium packaging, industrial packaging, labeling and filling, logistics, automation and robotics.
For Hispack, internationalization will also be one of the core strategies to expand the exhibition’s range of products, which in turn should lead to a significant increase in visits from customers from other countries.
We hope to see you there!
