Gravity Feed Metal Detector

A gravity feed metal detector, also known as a drop through metal detector or a free fall metal detector, is designed to detect metal contamination in continuously flowing free-falling granules or powders, such as sugar or flour, plastic granules or gravel, tablets or capsules.

The sensitive sensors in the CASSEL Inspection gravity feed metal detectors detect even the smallest metal contaminants, and fast-switching separation flaps discharge them directly from the product stream during production.

All CASSEL conveyor belt metal detectors are custom-made and can be individually adapted to the requirements of the respective production environment.
