Function

The XS GIG x-ray system is specially designed for the complicated detection of glass particles in glass or plastic containers. It also detects unwanted foreign objects such as metal, stones, ceramics or plastic with high density in the product. The XS26 devices use a scanning hight up to 265 mm with a straight product tunnel for conveyor speed up to 1 m/s.

The hygienic design with protection type IP66 for the product tunnel makes the XS GIG products particularly suitable for all companies and industries that have to ensure high hygiene standards.

CASSEL x-ray inspection systems provide maximum sensitivity for detection of foreign bodies and other quality features such as detection of missing or defective products. XRAY SHARK® XS26 GIG is particularly suitable for food or non-food products in glass or plastic containers like jars or bottles.

User-friendly operation:

The XRAY SHARK® XS26 GIG x-ray system has a large 17”color touch screen and intuitive software that is easy to use. No special training is needed to operate the x-ray device.

Easy cleaning and maintenance:

The hygienic design allows easy cleaning and maintenance of the XRAY SHARK® XS GIG. All components can be disconnected and cleaned. After cleaning, everything can be easily reassembled. The device is thus quickly ready for operation again.

Real time detection with colored contamination analysis:

CASSEL x–ray inspection systems provide maximum sensitivity in the detection of foreign bodies. Contaminated products are detected live and can be separated. On the touch screen of the x-ray device contamination is highlighted in color.

Masking functions:

The advanced XIA 3 software program omits certain parts of the product from inspection. This is particularly useful for packaged products, where the actual packaging should not be inspected for foreign bodies. The masking prevents unnecessary false rejection of products.

24 hour non-stop operation:

CASSEL has high standards for all inspection systems for quality control. High-quality components and the most advanced technology allow non-stop operation, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Reliable German safety standards – TÜV-certificate on demand:

The flawless design offers quality-conscious producers maximum safety and comfort for daily operations. The extremely low radiation leakage rate is max. 3 µSv/h or less.

Auto storing of inspection data, with time/date stamp:

All data can be stored for quality control. The XRAY SHARK® XS26 GIG has an automatic memory function. The option of storing data only for contaminated products is also available. All data is provided with a time and date stamp. You can easily check this data and analyze it.

Built-in remote maintenance:

If on-site technicians are not available, CASSEL x-ray inspection systems have a built-in remote maintenance function. Our qualified service engineers will help you with any questions, no matter where your x-ray device is located. That way, expensive travel costs can be saved and quick solutions can be found.

The XRAY SHARK® XS26 GIG is available with separating screws in different sizes. These screws guarantee optimal inspection without product jams. They are easy to install and adjust for a fast change of products. Radiation counters are as well available as certified test cards, a 21 CFR Part 11 compliance or a BRC compliance kit.
